Job Description Beyond the Hill Editor
The Editor will be meticulous in editing and fact checking two to four issues per year. This person will provide some editorial content and manage two or three writers, ensuring that stories and illustrations are in on time.
Duties include working with the Editor-in-Chief and editorial board to create story lineups, attending three or four meetings and events a year, and overseeing the proofing and press prep process.
This is a contract position payable at $500.00 per month with a bonus of $1,000.00 at time of each publication.
Job Description Beyond the Hill Editorial Intern
Reporting to the Editor, Editorial Interns research and write five or more stories and an equal share of obituaries for members who have recently passed, including taking and or sourcing photographs for every story or obituary, per issue.
They will assist with social media under the direction of CAFP staff and will be required to attend and report on three or four events during the year.
Remuneration will be $1,000.00 per issue.
