The mission of the Canadian Association of Former Parliamentarians (CAFP) is to promote and advance the values of democracy, leadership, and public service by supporting and engaging former Senators and MP’s in their post-parliamentary lives.
What We Do
We strive to foster a community of mutual respect, collegiality, and lifelong learning amongst former parliamentarians, while advocating for the importance of democratic institutions and the role of parliamentarians in promoting the democratic values of Canada and the well-being of its citizens. Our aim is to provide opportunities for our members to share their knowledge, experience, and expertise, and to promote public understanding of the parliamentary process and the importance of democratic governance in Canada.
