Join us for the CAFP Study Tour in the East Asian country of Mongolia!

Over the course of 8 days, participants will have the opportunity to take part in a variety of cultural experiences in Mongolia’s capital, the city of Ulaanbaatar. While in the capital, enjoy informative visits to the country’s largest museum, the Genghis Khan Museum, as well as the National Library of Mongolia and the Mongolian Military Museum. Participants will also get a closer look at the unique traditions and culture of Mongolia through visits to Gorkhi-Terelj National Park on horseback, a trip to the Narantuul Market and Sukbaatar Square, home to the Mongolian Stock Exchange, the Grand Government Palace, and other attractions.

Aside from exploring Mongolia’s cultural attractions, participants will have the opportunity to take part in a variety of official visits, such as meetings with members and ministers of the Mongolian Parliament, the Chairman of the Business Council of Mongolia and the Canadian Ambassador. This will be an excellent opportunity to form meaningful connections across borders that will champion the shared democratic values of both countries.

Participants who opt to stay in Mongolia for the tour extension will have the opportunity to explore the country’s unique natural features in the Gobi Desert. From the Yol Valley in the Gobi Gurvan Saikhan National Park, to the Tugrigiin Shiree paleontological site and the famous Flaming Cliffs, the trip extension provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the striking natural beauty of Mongolia.
