Former parliamentarians and their spouses are encouraged to keep in touch with the vibrant community of parliamentarians by becoming active members of CAFP.
Membership in the Canadian Association of Former Parliamentarians is open to all former Senators and former Members of the House of Commons. Benefits of Membership can be found here. Annual Membership dues of $125.00 (CAD) are for a 12-month period from April 1 to March 31. Dues can be paid yearly (by one-time online payment, or recurring online annual payments), or monthly. The monthly payment includes a processing fee.
Associate membership is also available to the spouses of former parliamentarians, both current members of the Association and those who have passed away. Associate membership dues are for a 12-month period from April 1 to March 31 and entitles associate members to most of the same rights and privileges as members. It can be paid either in one lump sum of $50.00 (CAD) (by one-time online payment, or recurring online annual payments).
