Nearly 6,000 men and women have served in the Canadian House of Commons and/or the Senate since 1867. Many former parliamentarians are still active professionally in a wide variety of fields and available to contribute their time and talents to worthwhile endeavours.
To become active members in the Association and to participate in CAFP programs and services, former MPs and Senators are expected to pay annual dues to support the work of the Association. Current dues are $125. Former parliamentarians may enrol their spouses as Associate Members for an annual fee of $50.
